On the other hand, mutualists benefit their hosts. Sexual reproduction is advantageous in that it results in variation e.g offsprings of human can have traits from all the four grand parents. Asexual reproduction, on the other hand, is advantageous because it results in the in production of great numbers of offsprings hence high survival chances of a given species.
